Accounts of living in Yellowknife (a work in progress, this site and my life)
I waited about 10 minutes for this train to pass. I took a wrong turn off the highway looking for food and found only a small impoverished prairie town. Funny thing was that despite all the rundown shacks passing for houses, all the driveways had hugely expensive trucks.

Spent some of my formative years in an Ontario Village called Lanark and went to Uni at Waterloo for my planning undergrad. Graduated, got a job and drove to Yellowknife to work for the City. Far away from friends and family. On the way I met some people, saw some things and did some stuff. Now I live here and spend my time trying not to be bored or boring.
